The future of iSixSigma?
It is with great disappointment that I heard the news that iSixSigma might be shutting down as a results of a failure of its parent company. There are apparently still efforts underway to secure financing to ensure a sustainable plan. Despite all of this uncertainty, the interesting part is that from everything I understand, iSixSigma was a successful and profitable organization despite challenges with its parent company.
While there has been some negative sentiment from some individuals around iSixSigma, I’ve always found that this was the single best site for collaborative content and exchange of ideas within the process improvement community. Should the site close, there will be a need for a new collaborative community to stimulate these interactions.
In the interim, as I had started to post blogs on the iSixSigma website, I will be reposting them on here in the event that the website were to shut down.
